Eligibility basics
We look at the basics your church may need for the Google Ad Grant path, including nonprofit readiness and account setup questions.
Many pastors hear about the Google Ad Grant but are not sure if their church qualifies, what to do first, or whether their website is ready for more traffic. We help churches check fit, set up simple search campaigns, and point people to clear ministry next steps.

Someone may be looking for a church after a move, a hard season, a question about faith, or a desire to bring their family somewhere meaningful. The grant can help your church appear in that moment, but the page they land on still needs to quickly answer: Can I trust this church? What should I expect? What do I do next?
The goal is to help your team understand whether the grant is worth pursuing and what should happen before setup.
We look at the basics your church may need for the Google Ad Grant path, including nonprofit readiness and account setup questions.
We review whether your website has clear pages for service times, location, ministries, events, sermons, prayer, and Plan Your Visit.
We identify the kinds of local searches that could connect people to your church without chasing random traffic.
We look for forms, calls, visit planning, prayer requests, or next steps that your team can actually respond to.
We flag obvious issues that could make setup or ongoing management harder, without promising approval.
You will know whether to pursue the grant now, improve the website first, or start with a smaller landing page plan.
They may be looking for a Sunday service, a church for their family, an event, a kids program, prayer, or a way to reconnect with faith.
If the website is hard to understand, outdated, or missing a Plan Your Visit path, the grant may send people into confusion.
Start with a fit check, launch a clean starter campaign, then improve the page and follow-up only when the data shows it is needed.

Umbrella Creative Co is not Google and is not affiliated with Google. Google controls eligibility, approval, program rules, account status, ad delivery, and grant policy enforcement. The Google Ad Grant provides eligible nonprofits access to up to $10,000/month in Google Search ad credit, but that amount is an upper limit, not a guaranteed monthly spend, traffic level, click volume, visits, conversions, or results. Unused ad credit does not roll over. Results depend on search demand, keyword competition, ad quality, landing page quality, conversion tracking, compliance, and ongoing optimization.
Let’s help your church explore Google Ad Grants without sticker shock, then build better landing pages, tracking, and follow-up only when they are truly needed.
